Non-refundable $40 audition fee will be due at check in. Fee covers both days.

Attire is to be all-black, form-fitting, hair should be pulled back and out of the face.

We recommend performers that are hoping to make the competitive team attend both days of auditions. On the first day we will spend most of the time teaching choreography and technique. The second day we will audition in smaller groups.

Bring your own equipment if you own it.  We have a very limited supply and cannot guarantee we will have enough for everyone.

Bring kneepads and any wraps that are needed for support. Bring water, snacks and pack a lunch.  

Eligibility: WGI discourages independent groups from utilizing high school students who were previously enrolled in an active high school program and have not yet graduated. As such, 2025 Vox Artium Winterguard members must be high school graduates or older. High school students may attend auditions as a clinic but will not be accepted to compete.

Per WGI Rules, A Class participants may not be not over 22 years of age as of 12:01 a.m. on April 1, 2025. Independent World Class Color guards may compete with participants of any age.

Both the Independent A guard and the Independent World Guard will be performing locally, attending WGI regionals and traveling to Dayton, Ohio for World Championships!
